Second Congregational Church In Greenwich Plans Homecoming Weekend

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Second Congregational Church kicks off the Annual Homecoming Weekend with Painting under the Tent with Kathy Chattoraj of Future Picassos on Friday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m.

Kathy will lead a group of adults painting while youngsters are able to watch enjoy popcorn and a movie. RSVP to Shawn Garan at Shawn@2cc.org and prepare for a $15 suggested donation.

The painting will be followed on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 5:30 p.m. with all new members and those interested in the church welcome to join for “Cocktails under the Tent”. “Acting out with Karen” will entertain young children ages Pre-K through second grade starting at 6 p.m. RSVP to Leah Marmon at lmarmon4@aol.com.

The weekend will end on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m. and start the day with a positive, informal worship featuring a Bluegrass Band followed by a Potluck-style BBQ featuring burgers, hot dogs and more. All food is provided by the church family with last names beginning with A-L being asked to bring salad dishes while M-Z asked to bring vegetable dishes. There will be a bouncy castle, face painting and ice cream for kids.
